  • Even More Control Over Your TweetWall Content

    Moderate Tweet

    July 27, 2014 : Back in May we introduced you to our new Manual Moderation Live Center which introduced some new valuable tools for controlling your Tweet Wall content.

    Guess what?

    We've added even more functionality to enhance your event even further!

    So, you already know from our New Live Center post in May that you can:

    •  Tailor the content on your TweetWall by accepting or rejecting Tweets as well as "Save [them] for later".

    •  Create Tags to better organize your content and filter to search for specific content.

    •  Curate Tweets, enabling you to pull in specific Tweets from Twitter, whether they contain the event hashtag or not.

    •  Use the Live Center Chat to instantly connect with your Tech team and other moderators.


    So What's New?

    Our clients are loving the new Live Center but our developers constantly look for ways to improve and create new functionality, so what's new?

    New Filters

    In the "To Moderate" tab you can now filter by specific text or keywords, language (Tweets only), by photo content, and/or by links. This is a great way to filter through large Tweet quantity or to isolate pictures, or languages for international events. Designated moderators are able to focus on Tweets in their own respective language.

    New User Profile Options

    Want to find out a little more about a specific user or quickly Follow them?

    It's easy! 

    Just click on their @handle or hover over it and an option to View Profile will appear. This gives you direct access to their profile on Twitter, where you can investigate further, or simply click on the Follow button (if your browser is logged into Twitter).

    A great time saving tool is the option to automatically action Tweets from a specific user without having to moderate them.

    As you see from the image above, you also have the options to Ban the user or Prioritize the user. 

    When you Ban the user, their Tweets will automatically be rejected and not appear in the To Moderate tab.

    Prioritizing a user sends their Tweets straight to the wall - ideal for trusted Tweeters or your own brand.

    Direct Access To Settings and Dashboard

    Perfect for when you want quick access to controls on your Dashboard or make tweaks to your Settings, there are now direct links to each of these from the Live Center.
