TweetWall Pro Presentation @ SFnewTech

video and write up from our live demo in San Francisco!

Today is a HUGE day for TweetWall Pro. Last night Vincent Vandoorne and Pascal Alberty presented our unique Twitter Wall at the webmission hosted by SfnewTech in San Francisco. After months of hard work and preparation they had the chance to publicly demonstrate our product overseas.

Here at TweetWall Pro headquarters we've been following their progress over Twitter as they prepared and finally presented to the audience at SFnewTech. Luckily for us, both of them have been tweeting a lot and we're usually up to date on any new developments.

Naturally, Vincent was a bit nervous before the actual presentation... it was, after all, his first complete pitch of TweetWall Pro in English. And Pascal, being in charge of the technical aspect of the live demo had some stressful moments as the team back in Belgium raced to fix any lingering bugs.

In the end, hard work on both ends culminated in a succesful presentation. Below, you can see Vincent and Pascal speaking about TweetWall Pro and showing a live demo of all it's features. How do you think they did?

That's a lot of information to pack into five minutes, and I think we did well to explain as many features as we could. You can tell Vincent is a gifted public speaker as well! Maybe he has a future as a politician?!

Joking aside... upon seeing this video all of us back in Belgium were very proud of Vincent and Pascal. The mood at the office is light and jovial today as we are all very relieved that the live demo went off without any problems. Our biggest concern was that it might lag or that the interface wouldn't be ready to support a demonstration at this time.

Special thanks to team members Jonathan Cambier and Jean-Philippe Jenicot, who worked straight through the weekend to ensure everything would be perfect for Tuesday and everyone at TweetWallPro.com who contributed to this effort.

After the live demo and presentation Vincent and Pascal had the opportunity to field questions from the audience. We worked on this before they had left for San Francisco, but I think they still had some questions that surprised them a bit.

The Q&A period gave them the chance to further explain our moderation feature as well as highlight why it is an important option. There was also some confusion as to how exactly "twitpics" are shown on the screen. Vincent explained that this varies in each visualization, but that YES, "twitpics" are displayed automatically on the screen rather than being activated by a click of the mouse.

It also gave them the opportunity to further explain the pricing and revisit the advertising possibilities of TweetWall Pro, both of which were only touched upon briefly during the actual presentation.

All in all, they've gotten a lot of positive feedback about our product and here at the office we can't wait to hear from them again (after a well deserved nights sleep of course). We're eager and excited to be moving forward into this new chapter for Tweet Wall Pro. The sky is the limit!
